Dorothy L. (Hem) Morse, age 74, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Milton, MA on September 27, 1947, she was a loving daughter of the late Sidney V. and Ingrid P. (Parelius) Hem.
Dottie grew up in Sharon and was a graduate of Sharon High School. For the past fifteen years, she worked as a Home Health Aid for Home Instead in Attleboro and was a former longtime and well-known waitress in the Mansfield area.
A resident of Mansfield for the past fifty years, Dottie’s family was the essence of her life and she especially loved spending time with her great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing casino games on her iPhone and will always be remembered for her kind, strong and dedicated work ethics.
She is survived by her devoted children: Robyn L. Sears of Mansfield and Brian K. Sears, Sr. of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Robby Schulz and his wife Krysta, Erick Schulz, Brian Sears, Jr., Jessica and the great grandmother of Ameila Schulz and Jay Schulz. She was the dear sister of David hem and his wife Donna of Tampa, Florida and Ellie Murray of Roan Mountain, Tennessee.
Service and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
