BROWN, Thomas M. Sr. (Retired Boston Police) of West Roxbury passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 14, 2021. Loving father of Thomas M. Jr., and his wife Kathryn of Marshfield, Timothy M. and his wife Priscilla of Roslindale, Tammy M. Lodge and her husband Brian of Holbrook, Todd M. and his wife Sandra of Hanover, Troy M. and his wife Christine of Canton and Tab M. and his wife Nadine of W. Roxbury. Former husband of the late Joan (DeWart) Brown. Devoted grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Boston Public Health requires masks be worn in funeral home and church. Visiting hours Monday, December 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Tom was a Decorated U.S. Navy Veteran serving his Country as a submariner during WWII. He was the former President of the Boston Police Emerald Society and member of the Board of Directors for Boston Police Retirees.
