MONAGHAN, Finlay James of Roslindale formerly of Greenock, Scotland passed away in the comfort of his loving family on March 14, 2021. Born July 18, 1963 the cherished son of Helen (Sweeney) and the late Finlay Monaghan. Beloved husband of Wilma (Munro) Monaghan. Devoted father of Brendan and Emma Monaghan of Roslindale. Dear brother of Joseph Monaghan and Marie Pye. Finlay is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends here in the U.S. and Scotland. He was an avid fan of The Celtic Football Club. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in The Holy Name Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
