William E. “Skippy” McKendall Jr. of Canton passed away April 12th. Born in Boston, he was raised in Mattapan and graduated from Hyde Park High School and St. Francis Xavier College in Canada. He worked as a Salesman for many years in various industries before retiring. Bill was on the Board of Directors for Canton Little League for several years where he was a coach and responsible for scheduling the umpires. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching Western movies.
Beloved husband of the late Marilyn A. (Lacasse). Loving father of William E. McKendall lll and his wife Michelle of Canton, Meredith M. Donahue and her husband Robert of Easton and Shana A. McKendall of Sturbridge. Brother of Jenny Lee Donovan of Quincy and Frances Clifford of Easton. Also survived by his grandchildren Zachary Besaw, Chace Besaw, Callie McKendall, William McKendall IV, Gabriella McKendall and Gianna McKendall and 1 niece and 3 nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the Dockray and Thomas funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM Funeral Mass at St Oscar Romero Church, Canton Wednesday morning at 10:00.
