Mrs. O'Connell and all of Charlie's family, We are very sorry for your loss. We all loved Charlie very much. I will miss him every day. Sorry I can't attend the funeral because it's not an immediate family member they would not allow me to take time off to attend. Even though to me he was a family member. He will always be my brother.

My deepest sympathies go out to Charlie's family, in this devasting loss. He touched so many people with his larger than life spirit. He was a wonderful friend, and had such a great heart and kindness to children. My children are heartbroken at the loss of Charlie, as we all are. Charlie was a great friend to many, and so much fun to play coed softball with. I loved to see his face showing off his fish when he got back in our yard from salt water fishing with Jim Rudder. Chuck you lit up a room when you entered it like no one else ever could and while in that room most people gravitated toward you because you were such a likeable person. So full of life and just on fire. I was lucky enough to be able to call you my brother and to have spent the last 28 years just hanging out with you. But what i would give for 1 more minute!! Sorry to hear about Charlies trajic passing and my heart goes out to his family and children! Charlie was always there to give a hand or shoot a game of pool when i used to play at jarrods and captian petes from time to time!also Charlie was a avid football and sports follower and when i had a question about who would win during football season id ask charlie if i seen him and if he had any thoughts on the game , if i can help out with anything email me !
