Sean K. Duffy, age 35, of Bath, ME, formerly of Winchester, passed away Jan. 14, 2012. Born in Calgary, he was the beloved son of John J. and Donna (Killian) Duffy of Kittery, ME, formerly long-time residents of Winchester. Raised and educated in Winchester, Sean was a 1995 graduate of Winchester High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Church, where he was an altar server in his younger years. He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and a MS in Fire Protection Engineering. Sean was employed as a fire protection engineer for many years. In his spare time, Sean enjoyed photography, saltwater fishing and scuba diving. Aside from his parents, he leaves a brother, Ryan Duffy of Burlington, VT, and is further survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting Hours will be held at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Sat., January 21st from 8:30-9:30AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St. Winchester at 10AM. Relatives and friend respectfully invited. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sean’s memory may be made to the American Red Cross Mid-Coast Chapter/Fire Victims Fund, 16 Community Way, Topsham, ME 04086.
