Josephine “Jodi” (Bronovich) Dickie of West Roxbury departed this world September 10, 2011 at age 93 at home with her devoted daughters at her side wishing her Godspeed.
Born in Cambridge, Jodi came to West Roxbury in 1941 and had lived here ever since. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid traveler. She visited many countries, including several trips to Puerto Rico and an exciting trip to Thailand when she was 82 years old which included elephant riding. She also enjoyed traveling around the US, driving and camping all over our country. She particularly liked the Northwest and visiting with family in Seattle. Jodi was an excellent swimmer and she exercised frequently. She loved to entertain and host numerous parties and dinners and was very active in the West Roxbury Seniors Group.
Jodi was the devoted wife of the late James Dickie. Beloved mother of Diane DeWitt and her husband Daryl Longlitz of Canada, and Roberta Jung of West Roxbury. Loving grandmother or Robert Rawlings, Peter Jung and his wife Ann and Scott Jung. Loving great-grandmother of Elizabeth Jung. Dear sister of Steven Zozula and his wife Mary Will, Amelia Fisher, Christine Young and the late Anthony Bronovich. Dear aunt of Cynthia MacIntosh, and Virginia and Edwin Dickie. Dear companion of the late William T. Morrissey.
