Barbara K. (Berry) Belanger, formerly of Derry, NH, passed away September 11, 2011 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Barb was born in Lawrence, MA and was a daughter of the late Dexter L. and Anna (Flaherty) Berry. She was raised and educated in Lawrence, and was a 1947 graduate of Lawrence High School. Barbara married her high school sweetheart, D. Roland Belanger, and was office manager of the Belanger Pool Center of Londonderry, NH. After their retirement, the Belanger’s moved to Hobe Sound, Fl., and continued to summer in NH.
Members of the family include her loving husband Roland, her son and his wife, Philip and Carol Belanger of Arkansas, 4 grandchildren, Brian, Kevin and Megan Belanger and Jason Daily, a sister, Frances Morency of Salem, NH, many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many dear friends, both here and in Florida. She was predeceased by her daughter Debra Daily.
Arrangements are being handled by the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry. Private services are being planned by the family, and interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made in her name to the charity of one’s choice.
