Mike Sheppard, 50, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, February 22, 2004, at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.
Graveside services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 24, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald with Charlie Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Sheppard was born October 17, 1953, in Fitzgerald to the late Delbert Dean Sheppard and Barbara Joan Fitzgerald Sheppard. He was a Construction Foreman with Trinity Construction Company in Irving, Texas. Mr. Sheppard grew up in Macon, GA and lived in Texas for 25 years before returning to Fitzgerald 2 years ago from Irving, Texas.
Mr. Sheppard is survived by his wife: Lori B. Sheppard, Irving, TX; 2 daughters: Michelle Lee Sheppard, Irving, TX and Brandi Nicole Sheppard, Macon, GA; 2 brothers, Tim (Elaine) Sheppard, Fitzgerald and Richard (Rita) Jones, Perry, GA; 3 sisters: Carla (Steve) Napier, Macon, GA, Tracy Bostic, Macon and Rebecca Parker, Fitzgerald; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
