Alice V. (Berglund) Boudreau, a resident of Tewksbury for 8 years and former 30 year resident of Saugus and 12 year resident of Malden, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Wingate at Belvidere Nursing Home in Lowell following an extended illness. She was 84 years old.
Alice was born in Everett on June 15, 1927 to the late Olaf and Alice V. (Kenney) Berglund. She grew up in Everett where she attended Everett Public Schools. Alice was a homemaker most of her adult life and enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and crossword puzzles.
Alice is the beloved wife of the late Ronald F. Boudreau. She is the devoted mother of Cheryl Heflin and her husband Raymon of Arizona, Stephen Caparella and his wife Lisa of Randolph, Jeanne Papageorgiou and her husband Charlie of Tewksbury and step-mother of Ronald Boudreau and his wife Nancy of Somerville, Wayne Boudreau of Saugus, Janine Higgins and her husband James of Saugus and Mary Lynskey and her husband Robert of Florida. She is the loving Nana of 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She is the beloved sister of Robert Berglund of Concord, Vivian Comeau of Florida and the late Arthur Berglund, Lillian Wallace and her infant brother Albert.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Alice on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m. followed by her Funeral Service at 7 p.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose. Burial will be private.
