Obituary

Mrs. Isabelle R. (Perry) Majkut, of Taunton, died Tuesday, September 6 in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Floyd F. Majkut. She was born 91 years ago in Bridgewater, the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Luiz) Perry. She was educated in Bridgewater and had been a Taunton resident for many years. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a cafeteria worker at the former Maxham School in Taunton for 11 years. Mrs. Majkut was a member of the Lee Terrace Community Club and was a former member of the Lucky Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed assisting others, playing bingo, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 son: Joseph V. Majkut and his wife, Maureen of Westfield, Ma.; 3 brothers: John, Albert and Alfred Perry all of Bridgewater; 3 sisters: Louise Bumpus, Adeline Bumpus and Della Houlihan all of Bridgewater; 2 granddaughters: Melissa Majkut and her fiance, William O’Connell of Medford, and Melanie Kelleher and her husband, Patrick of South Boston, and several nieces and nephews. Isabelle was also the mother of the late Mary Anne Miseph and her late husband, Randy of Falmouth, and was the sister of the late Manuel Perry of Whitman, Anthony Perry of Freetown, Mary LaPointe of East Taunton, and Lena Fardie of Bridgewater.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Monday, September 12 at 8:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Church at 9:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M
