METHUEN – Lynn (Fleming) Markey 59 died Sunday September 4, 2011 with her family by her side.
Born and educated in Lawrence she was the daughter of John and Muriel (Fettes) Fleming she was a graduate of Lawrence High School. For more than 30 years she was a manager with Verizon. She enjoyed playing bingo vacationing at Disney World and spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 40 years John A. Markey, she is survived by her children Jennifer C. Markey of Hudson, NH, Christopher J. Markey and his wife Andrea of Tauton, MA.
Sisters and brothers Joan Murphy of NY, Gail Fleming of Lakeland, FL, John Fleming and his wife Della of Dracut, MA, June Keith and Lori Martin both of Lawrence, MA.
Three grandchildren Zachary, George and Kyle.
Two aunts June McGowen of Tewksbury, MA and Joanne Fettes of Atkinson, NH.
Several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call Friday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00a.m. in the funeral home will burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
