In Norton, September 5, 2011, Kathleen M. Peterson, age 88 passed away in Epoch of Norton following a brief period of failing health. Kathleen was the daughter of the late Frank & Mary (Tracy) Peterson. Kathleen was born in Taunton, where she resided most of her life. She attended Taunton schools and a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1941. Kathleen was a telephone operator for the former New England Telephone for 41 years. She was a member of AARP and the Telephone Pioneers. Kathleen was preceded in death by her siblings; Florence, Martha, Frank J., Russell J. and Edward J. Peterson. She also leaves her nieces and nephews; Nancy Kandarian of Taunton, Ester Peterson of East Greenwich, R.I., Tina Peterson of Narragansett, R.I., Juanita Ramsay of East Greenwich, R.I., Mary C. Brady of Raynham and Russell J. Peterson of Taunton and also six great nieces and six great nephews. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, September 8th at 11am. at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma. 02780. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Taunton, MA.
