SPENCER: Georgianna A. (Appleby) McDonald 93, formerly of 106 Smithville Rd., died Thursday, Sept. 1 at The Meadows of Leicester.
She leaves her daughter Donna Bove and her husband Anthony of Spencer, three sons Robert Jameson of Fl., William Jameson of Nashua, N.H., and Edward Manning of Worcester, a brother William Appleby of Raynham, many grand, and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born in Randolph, she was the daughter of Ernest and Agnes (Fowler) Appleby.
Mrs. McDonald was the night manager at the former Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Boston for 7 years, before retiring in 1968.
At her and the family’s request, no funeral services are planned.
