ONSET – Leanne M. (Machado) Hyland, an Onset resident for the past fifteen years, died at Falmouth Hospital on Aug. 26, 2011.
She was 55.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of Leon O. and Nancy Lee (Coelho) Machado, Jr.
She was raised and educated in Taunton, and a 1974 graduate of Taunton High School.
Leanne was employed by Stop & Shop, and worked in the Deli Department in the Wareham store for many years.
She retired due to disability several years ago.
She was a former member of the Buzzard’s Bay Eagles.
Besides her parents of Florida, she leaves her husband, Michael M. Hyland of E. Bridgewater; three sons, Michael M. Hyland, Jr., Jacob G. Hyland, and Marcus Casey, all of E. Bridgewater; a daughter, Jennifer Rinta of W. Wareham; a brother, Leon O. Machado, III of Bridgewater; three sisters, Stacey Reeves of Onset, Stefanie Machado of New Bedford, and Jamie Machado of Taunton; two grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Kathy DiGiampietro.
