Rose Marie Warne, 87,of Franklin died February 10, 2002 in the Mountain Ridge Healthcare Center. She was born in Milburn, NJ on June 6, 1914, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Marino) DeSessa. She has resided in Franklin since 1969.
A high school teacher for more than 43 years, she was on the staff of the Winnisquam Regional High School at the time of her retirement.
Mrs. Warne was a former member of the Franklin Historical Society, the Sanbornton Historical Society, the Franklin Regional Hospital Auxiliary and the Franklin Women’s Club.
Her husband, noted clockmaker, William A. Warne, died in October 1993.
A brother, Daniel DeSessa of Lakewood NJ and several nieces and nephews survive her.
There are no funeral services. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
