Ella Anderson Cooper, age 83 of Danville, VA, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Burlington, NC.
Born February 24, 1928 in Durham, NC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Anderson and Ella Kennedy Anderson. She spent most of her life in Danville. She was married to Burley Woodroe Cooper.
Survivors include two sons: Curtis A. Cooper of Danville, and Frederic L. Cooper of Hickory, NC; one daughter: Sylvia C. Clifford of Blackridge, VA; seven grandchildren: Ashley Burris and husband Thomas Burris, Jeremiah Clifford, Anthony Clifford, Zachariah Clifford, Isaiah Clifford, Joey Cooper, and Chloe Cooper; and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services officiated by Rev. Michael Clifford will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery.
