Obituary

Spencer: F. Helen (Ledoux) Frelick 62 of 58 School St., and North Ft. Myers, Fla., died Thursday, February 19th at Saint Vincent Hospital after a long and very corageous battle with breast cancer. She leaves her adoring husband of 42 years, James A. Frelick, her three beloved children; Lori Brooks and her husband Kenneth of West Brookfield, Lisa Frelick Hubbard and her husband Tracy of East Brookfield and James Frelick, Jr. of Southbridge, she will be sorely missed by her brother, Roy Ledoux his wife Colleen and their family, her devoted sisters; Madelyn Morin wife of Donald, Joanne Emerson, Marguerite Sweet wife of Harry all of Spencer, Constance White wife of William of San Antonio, Texas and all their families, four grandchildren; Jesse and Jordan Brooks, Jacob Frelick, Lucas Hubbard and a great-grandaughter, Crystal. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Pauline Grzyb. She was born and raised in Spencer, the fifth daughter of Leon and Adrienne (Roy) Ledoux. Mrs. Frelick was a graduate of St. Mary's parochial school and David Prouty High School. She was a secretary at St. Mary's church, now known as Mary, Queen of the Rosary parish, for more than twenty years where she also served as a lector, leader of song and teacher of Christian doctrine. Helen's whole life revolved around her family and her church where she was deeply loved and appreciated. Her many life long friends with whom she kept in contact will miss her loving and steadfast friendship. Go with God Helen, we will miss your presence and warm smile until we meet again. The funeral will be held Monday, February 23rd, from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Church, 60 Maple St. Following cremation, burial of ashes will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday, from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Mary, Queen of the Rosary Memorial Fund, 60 Maple St., Spencer, MA 01562
