Claudia Grey Andrews Fletcher of Lakeland, Florida died Monday, August 29, 2011, in Lakeland, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011, in the Chapel of Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside in Lakeland, Florida. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the services at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in Oak Ridge Cemetery with burial to follow.
Mrs. Fletcher was born on January 1, 1916 in Sylvester and was the daughter of Corbin Babe Andrews and Dora Lewis Andrews, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Fletcher; and one son, Guy Allan Fletcher. She was a homemaker and attended Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by two sons, Donnie C. Fletcher of Houston, Texas and Charles Corbin Fletcher of Live Oak, Florida; one daughter, Linda Thompson of Lakeland, Florida; one sister, Dora B. Fender of Lynchburg, Virginia; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
