WORCESTER-Virginia S. (Esper) Bakstran of Worcester died Thursday, August 25th in Saint Vincent Hospital on her 86th birthday surrounded by her family. She leaves her husband of 65 years, Kenneth H. Bakstran; a son, John F. Bakstran and his wife, Janet of Sutton; a daughter, Carol A. Breeds and her husband, James R. of Auburn; a sister, Vivian Marchisio of Norwood; two grandchildren, Michelle Lempicki and her husband, Keith of Auburn and Shawna Bates and her husband, Keith of Oxford; two great grandchildren, Ryan P. and Sarah R. Lempicki. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Bakstran and a sister, Gloria Daige.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Samuel and Lillian (Eblan) Esper. Virginia was a member of North American Martyrs Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and crafts. The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care Virginia received.
