Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Avon. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm.
Obituary
Mr. Crowe died Wednesday at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, son of the late Oswald and Mary L. (Hennessey) Crowe. Attended Brockton schools and he graduated from Brockton High School Class of 1937. He had been employed by the City of Brockton and retired from Quinn Freight Lines in 1981 after 30 years. He was Veteran of WW II who served in the US Navy. Former member of the Brockton Lions Club. For over 50 years he and his wife resided part of the year in the Sebago Lake Region of Maine.
He is survived by a son James L. Crowe and his wife Lynn of Charleston, SC; two daughters,Cheryl A. Randall and her husband David of Brockton and Karen J. Crowe of N. Easton, three grandchildren James L. Crowe, Jr., Theresa Fedorenko and Stacy Randall, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
