Derry, NH -- Barbara Sullivan Amicangioli, 54, passed away peacefully at her home in Derry, NH on Sunday, August 21st with her family by her side following a courageous 15-month battle with Leukemia.
Born in Methuen, MA, Barbara grew up in Lawrence and attended Saint Mary’s Catholic School and Katharine Gibbs College. Barbara worked for Digital Equipment Corporation before becoming a devoted home maker, wife, and mother.
Barbara will be remembered for her compassionate care for others and the quality time she spent with family and friends. In her short time on Earth, Barbara graced the lives of all she met and positively influenced the world around her.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 28 years, Michael R. Amicangioli, sons Michael Patrick & Matthew Ryan, sisters Joan Pavlenkov of Londonderry & Eileen Couture of Derry and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her parents William & Claire (Daley) Sullivan, both of Lawrence, MA.
Arrangements: Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home in Methuen, MA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Church in Windham, NH with burial to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Derry, NH.
