MATTIE L. “SANDY” DENZIK, 78, of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011.
She was a member of Epiphany United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler, having bowled for over 35 years. She was also a breast cancer survivor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Edward Denzik and her grandson, Victor Lucchese III.
She is survived by her husband of over 63 years, Edward I. “Ed” Denzik; children, Kathy Denzik, Gary Denzik (Tina), Linda Barnett (Mark), Susan Denzik and Patricia Denzik; grandchildren, Angela Ratterman, Meagan Ratterman, Bridget Smith, David Ratterman, Crystal Bailey, Vanessa Lucchese and Mahogany Denzik; and six great grandchildren.
Her service will be 10am Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8pm and Thursday 12noon-8pm.
