Obituary

MIDDLEBORO, MA - Robert J. Beaudreau, a Middleboro, MA resident for the past seventeen years, died at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, MA on Aug. 19, 2011.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Brockton, MA, on Oct. 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Antonio and Laura (Ouimet) Beaudreau.
A graduate of Brockton High School, he later served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Beaudreau was a salesman for many years, employed by the Continental Connector Corporation, Vector Sales, and Teradyne Connection Systems, and was a member of the International Institute of Connector and Interconnection Technology.
He enjoyed listening to big band music, dancing, and working out.
An avid walker, he tried to walk two to three miles a day.
He spent a lot of time reading about history and religion, and had a fine appreciation for the older luxury cars.
Mr. Beaudreau enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren, and loved to talk, especially telling stories of WWII, politics, and family history.
He loved social gatherings and usually kept everyone entertained with his stories.
Mr. Beaudreau is survived by his loving children, Brenda Severino and her husband Michael of Uncasville, CT, Sandra Ramey and her husband Gary of Largo, FL, and Anne Marie Coulter and her husband, Adam, of Thetford, VT; his sister, Dollie Fruzetti of Taunton, MA; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan and Alexandria Severino, Emily Clendenin, and Sydney, Skyra, and Starrina Coulter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was interred at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Monday, Aug. 22nd.
A family gathering will held at the Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
