Gunars Busmanis, 82

Gunars Busmanis, 82, a Norton resident for over 45 years, passed away on Saturday August 20, 2011 at home.
Born in Latvia on October 11, 1928, he was a son of the late Janis and Natalija (Kruza) Busmanis.
He attended Wenthworth Institute in Boston and served as a paratrooper in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Busmanis was a retired builder and along with his brother was the owner of the former B & B Construction Co. in Norton.
Graveside services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday September 10th at 11:00 A.M. at the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, 670 Baker St., West Roxbury, MA
A reception will be held following the services at the Jamaica Plain Latvian Lutheran Church, 100 Rockview St., Jamaica Plain.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St., Norton.
