Worcester- Lena E. Denis 92, of Worcester formerly of Spencer died Wednesday February 18th at St. Mary’s Health Care Center.
Born in Spencer she was the daughter of Adelard and Delia (Benoit) Jette. Her husband Albert died in 1936. She leaves a sister Theresa Hedge of Worcester a niece and nephews. She was a graduate of David Prouty high school and worked in the accounting department of the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 40 years retiring in 1976.
A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 am Friday, Feb. 20, from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. The Family requests that flowers be omitted and donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
