NEW BEDFORD – Donna L. Petitjean, 55, of New Bedford, died Friday, August 19, 2011at home unexpectedly. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Adrienne F. (St. Martin) Petitjean. She was a lifelong resident of the city who had worked in the mental health field with a masters in psychology. Ms. Petitjean loved her cat Bubba, was an avid reader who enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
She is survived by her 4 brothers: Robert E., Charles G. and James M. Petitjean all of New Bedford and Stephen P. Petitjean of Dartmouth; 2 nieces: Erin Allen and Tracey Goodwin; 2 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews; 4 special friends: Corinna, Peggy, Shirley and Debbie.
Funeral services will be private.
