Bradley J. Dauphinee, 69, of Attleboro, formerly of Foxboro and Mansfield, passed away surrounded by his loving family, after a brave battle with cancer, on Saturday August 20, 2011, in Providence, at the Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
Born in Brockton, MA on July 20, 1942, he was a dear son of the late Bradley G. and Marie (Creeden) Dauphinee.
Brad grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield public schools and was a 1962 graduate of Mansfield High School. He furthered his education and had attended the Vesper George School of Art in Boston.
A retired paper salesman, Mr. Dauphinee had worked for Zanders USA and was formerly employed at Lindenmeyr Munroe, where he had spent the majority of his career.
Brad possessed a great talent in art and woodworking of which several of the pieces that he created will be treasured forever by his daughters and grandchildren
A true nature lover, Brad enjoyed gardening and adored the beautiful garden and patio he built at his home. He will also be remembered for his exceptional cooking skills.
Mr. Dauphinee had made his home in Attleboro for the past 10 years and was a former 25 year resident of Foxboro. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and the many colleagues with whom he worked.
He is survived by his loving daughters: Nicole M. Reidy and her husband Michael of Holden and Danielle E. Conley and her husband Christopher of Haymarket, VA. The dear brother of Gail Leonard and her husband Francis of TN, Karen Shea of Stoughton and William Dauphinee and his wife Janice of North Attleboro, he is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Olivia and Thomas Reidy, Madison and Sean Conley, his former wife Diane Dauphinee of North Attleboro and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
His funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday August 24th at 9:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 62 Carpenter St., Foxboro. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 23rd from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
