Concord-----Clifford ‘Butch” D. Cassavaugh, 74, of 84 Carter Hill Road, died at the C.R.V.N.A. Hospice House on Friday, August 19, 2011.
Mr. Cassavaugh was born June 29, 1937 in Sanbornton, N.H., the son of Bernice G. (Dow) & Nelson P. Cassavaugh, Sr.
Mr. Cassavaugh lived in Northfield for several years before moving to Concord thirty-nine years ago. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force and had been employed at Crowley Foods in Concord.
Mr. Cassavaugh was an outdoorsman and loved bass fishing and hunting. He was a New England Sports Fan.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Clint R. & Tricia L. Cassavaugh, of Concord; two grandchildren, Cameron M. Cassavaugh of Concord and Katie L. Cassavaugh of Concord; two brothers, Nelson P. Cassavaugh, Jr. of Laconia and Terry L. Cassavaugh of Barnstead; five sisters, Priscilla Wills of Lee and Sandra Bolduc , Sheila Haven and Marsha Byers all of Laconia and Pamela Beaudoin of Belmont; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cassavaugh was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond T. Cassavaugh, Kirkman J. Cassavaugh, Sr., Eugene R. Cassavaugh and Wayne D. Cassavaugh and by a sister, Gail Bartlett.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10:30AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H.
