Mr. Robert E. "Bob" Bawkum, 95, of Andover, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by his family.
Bob was born on September 14th, 1915 in South Carolina, son of the late James and Lula (Core) Bawkum. He was educated in the South Carolina Schools and served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean War.
Bob worked for Converse for 25 years. He enjoyed the beach and taking day trips with his wife Beatrice.
His family members include his loving wife

His 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 nephew.
