Arthur N. Clem 78, of Bound Rd. died Thursday at Landmark Medical
Center. He was the husband of Muriel (Lavallee) Clem. Born in Milford, MA he was a son of the late, Arthur Clem and Dora (Lague) Lataille. Mr. Clem was an administrative coordinator for the State of RI Health Department for twenty eight years, retiring in 1995. He was a former member of the Woonsocket Jaycee's, a committee member of the Boy Scouts Troop # 1121, he served on the CYO Board of Directors. He was a Eucharistic Minister and Trustee of All Saints Church , and served on the Finance Committee of the Parish Council.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Thomas Clem and his wife Lisette of Woonsocket, a daughter Debra Levesque and her husband Marc of Douglas MA, a brother Norman Lataille of Nasonville, three sisters, Jeannette Gendron of Woonsocket, Barbara Gill of Uxbridge, and Jeanne Benoit of FL, four grandchildren, Kristen Fletcher, Bryan Levesque, Jameson Clem and Lauren Clem and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Braydin Levesque. He was also the brother of the late Shirley Parenteau, and Richard Lataille
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Resurrection Cemetery, in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to All Saints Church, Building Fund in his memory would be appreciated.
