Karen L. (Shea) Campanelli 62 died at her home on Wednesday Aug. 17, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Campanelli for 40 years.
Born in Boston, Sept. 19, 1948 a daughter of the late Thomas D. and Gladys L. (Libby) Shea, she was raised and educated in Medford, and is a graduate of Medford High School.
Karen was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also an avid reader, and enjoyed travel. She formerly lived in Norfolk, Westwood & Dedham.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 sons: Paul A. and his wife Eren of Golden, CO., Jeffrey M. of Hyde Park, Christopher D. of Franklin., a sister: Kathy Sacco of Laconia, NH, 2 brothers Thomas and Robert Shea of FL, 2 grandchildren Nathan and Nicholas Campanelli, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church Franklin at 10AM. Interment is private.
