Mrs. Gloria M. Scutell, age 77, of Medford formerly of East Boston, passed away Tuesday, February 17th, following a lengthy illness. Born in Melrose she was the daughter of the late Nellie (Frongillo) and Carlo Sacco. She was the beloved wife of the late Guy A. Scutell.
Mrs. Scutell worked for many years as a legal secretary in Boston. She enjoyed the arts of portrait painting and working with clay. She was a former member of the North End Union and the Italian/American Club of Medford. She also loved animals. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Gloria´s memory to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mrs. Scutell is survived by her brother Carl A. Sacco and his wife Ann of Reading. She is the cherished aunt of Carl M. of Maine, Steven of Rochester, Bonita of Wakefield, Nancy of Lynn, Jayne of Magnolia and John Sacco of Beverly. She is also survived by Many loving great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Friday, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford/Somerville at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitng hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
