Obituary


Pleyer of Plymouth, Arlene (Jaquith) 89, formerly of Kansas City, August 17 at home. She leaves her loving husband of 61 years J. Everette Pleyer, two daughters Arla Jeanne Buchanan and her husband Jim of Havana, IL, and Ardith Eyring and her husband Tim of Plymouth. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arlene was born in Colorado the daughter of Claire Marshall and Pearl (Miller) Jaquith. She grew up in Phoenix, AZ and went to high school there. Arlene graduated from Upland College and Azusa Pacific College in CA. Arlene worked at the Nazarene Book Store in Kansas City, MO and was a member of the St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, whose greatest desire was to serve God to the best of her ability.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 20, at 2:00 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home before the service. A memorial service and internment will be held in Kansas City in the fall. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, at www.ncm.org/give/ncm/ or to the Alzheimer’s Association (PO Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
