Carmella A. (Piro) Rancatore, 76 of Billerica formerly of Somerville died Tuesday after a long illness in the New England Rehabilitation Hospital Woburn, MA.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Anna Lonardo Piro. Mrs. Rancatore was a Secretary, for the Somerville Public School System for 11 years and retired in 1989.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Rancatore. Devoted mother of Paula Nardella and her husband Joseph of Wakefield, Lynda DiMarzio and her husband Daniel of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Cristina DiMarzio. Sister of Vincent J. Piro of Winchester, Guy Piro Jr., Joseph Piro both of Somerville, and the late Peter G. Piro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 2 - 4 and 7 – 9.
Interment will be private.
