Bernice Brady, 96, of Rochelle, Georgia died Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Pineview Health Care Center in Pineview, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 18 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with the Rev. Ralph Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Mrs. Brady was born August 13, 1915 in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late John E. and Janie Taylor Law. She was a homemaker and farmers wife who moved to Wilcox County in 1980 from Irwin County. Mrs. Brady was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her church.
She is survived by her daughters: Vernelle Brown of Rochelle, Margaret (Willie) Paul of Ocilla and Faye (Larry) Oslund of Crossville, TN; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren; brothers: John (Arlene) Law of Archer, FL and Lollie (Lura) Law of Orange Park, FL. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie K. Brady, 1 son, John Eddie Brady, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
