Beloved father of Michael Slattery and his wife Jessica of New Haven, CT, Keith Slattery and his wife Kelly of Melrose and Jason Slattery and his wife Stephanie of Malden. Brother of John Slattery of Malden, Terrance Slattery of East Boston, Mary Slattery of Malden and the late Francis Slattery and Noreen Martorana. Cherished grandfather of Finn, Ingrid, William, Megan and Brianne. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Saturday, August 20 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Born in Malden and a resident of Malden and Everett until moving to Florida 9 years ago, Michael, at 65 years of age, passed away at the Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida after a brief illness. For over 30 years until his retirement, he worked as a mechanic for the MBTA.
