Marie D. Soracco (Drohan) of Canton passed away at home August 15th. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and attended Boston Schools. She has lived in Canton for the last 50 years and she also enjoyed spending time at her residence in Newport, RI. Beloved wife of Joseph N. Mother of Sandra M. & Paula M. Soracco both of Canton. Grandmother of Ryan Lurvey of Canton. Niece of the late Benjamin Drohan(author of Southie Is My Home Town). Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St. Canton Friday morning at 10:00. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
