EAST TAUNTON – Clementine (Machado) Cardoza, wife of Anthony P. Cardoza of East Taunton, died at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston on Aug. 13, 2011.
She was 66.
Born in St. Michael Azores, she was the daughter of Mary (Melo) Machado of Taunton, and the late Amilcar Machado.
A longtime resident of the area, Mrs. Cardoza owned and operated Clemie’s Beauty Salon in East Taunton for the past forty-five years.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son, Dennis P. Cardoza and his wife Wendy of Attleboro; a daughter, Susan M. Robinson and her husband Philip of Billerica; a brother, Anthony E. Machado of Taunton; two sisters, Fatima Rodrigues of Taunton and Eulalia Medeiros of Dighton; four grandsons, David, Andrew, Kyle and Matthew; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday Aug. 18th at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday Aug. 17th from 5 to 8 p.m.
