Obituary

Richard W. “Mac” McNamara, 78 years of South Easton, died August 12, 2011 at St. Joseph Manor. Born in Brockton son of the late John and Helen G. (Flannagan) McNamara. He was raised in North Easton, a graduate of Oliver Ames High School Class of 1952. Following graduation Mac worked in the Ames Shovel Shops until entering the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Mac was an employee of the City of Brockton working for Melrose Cemetery for 33 years. He enjoyed auto racing and was an avid Red Sox fan.

He was the brother of the late John McNamara and leaves his friend Robert Foster.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123)Brockton Wednesday from 10 to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am. Burial at a later date in Melrose Cemetery.
