In Attleboro, August 14, 2011 Robert A. Curry, age 72 passed away in Sturdy Memorial Hospital following a period of failing health. Robert is survived by his wife Cynthia (Walton) Curry of Rehoboth. He was born in Taunton to his late parents Charles E. & Helen (Mumford) Curry. Robert has lived in Rehoboth since 1982. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Robert was employed as the health agent for both the town of Norton and also Rehoboth. He was a member of the American Legion, Rehoboth Post#302, Conservation Commission in Rehoboth and he enjoyed aviation, camping and traveling. Besides his wife Robert leaves his children; John Curry & Joan Brunidge of Fulton, KY., David & Lisa Curry of Athens, AL., Ann Mansfield & Manny Arraiol of Taunton, Ma., Mary & Robert Walker of West Wareham, Ma., Janet & Roger Casey of Taunton, Charles & Lisa Curry of Taunton and also his step children; Steven & Ketti Mello of Romeoville, IL. and Michael & Karen Mello of Dighton. Robert also leaves his seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Robert is survived by his sister Suzanne Lynn Burton & husband David of Coventry, RI. and his late brother Charles Richard Curry. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, Ma. 02780 on Friday, August 19th at 10am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7pm. Burial will be at the Bourne National Cemetery on Weds. August 24th at 11:30am. Donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O.
