Regina F. (Lynch) Brennan, 84, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester died Friday, Aug. 12 in St. Vincent Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehichile accident.
Her husband Thomas V. Brennan, Sr. died in 1993. She leaves four sons Thomas V. Brennan, Jr. and his fiancée Karen Bousquet of Leicester, Francis X. Brennan and his wife Kerry of Worcester, John J. Brennan and his wife Judith of Rochdale and Terrance P. Brennan of Dennisport, two daughters Mary E. Wells and her husband Daniel of Brimfield and Ann M. Hunt and her fiancé Raymond Buckley of Leicester, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son James F. Brennan and her sister Ann M. Olson.
Mrs. Brennan was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis H. and Margaret (Leahy) Lynch. She was a supervisor of operators at New England Telephone Co. for several years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church where she was a former Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher. She was a member of the Leicester Council of Aging, the Leicester Democratic Town Committee, and a F.I.S.H. volunteer. She was the former President of the Worcester County Americans with Disabilities Association.
The funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 15 from MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 759 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM. Please omit flowers.
