Eva Mary (Poirier) Girard, 91, of Epping, NH, died Thursday at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH surrounded by her loving family.
Eva was born and educated in Salem, NH the daughter of the late Belzemire and Joseph Poirier. She graduated from Woodbury High School in 1939. She married Albert Girard, Jr. at St. Joseph Church in Salem on May 4, 1945.
Eva worked for the Pacific Mills in Lawrence, MA. She previously worked for Barry’s Coat Factory in Lawrence and Granite State Potato Chip in Salem. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Eva enjoyed reading and crocheting. Everyone enjoyed her homemade pies.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 2008.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wed., Aug. 17th at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church, Epping, NH. Burial is in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping, NH
Calling hours are Tues., Aug. 16th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
