Jeanne Pauline Bellenoit, 90, of New Bedford died February 15, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late George E. and Clementine (Pruneau) Bellenoit, she had lived in New Bedford for most of her life. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Miss Bellenoit was formerly employed at Aerovox Corporation for 27 years, and at Acushnet Company Golf Ball Division for 8 years, until her retirement on 1976.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, singing, music, rug braiding and animals.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Tremblay of New Bedford; 3 nephews, Rev. George C. Bellenoit of Mansfield, Harold N. Tremblay, and his wife Therése, of Minnesota, and Pierre C. Tremblay, and his wife Denise, of New Bedford; 3 great-nieces, Melissa A. Lorenz, Stephanie Colleen Tremblay and Amanda Lynn Tremblay, all of Minnesota; a great-nephew, Jeremy Tremblay of Minnesota; and 2 great-great nieces, Angela and Desirée Lorenz, both of Minnesota.
She was the sister of the late Omer Bellenoit, Francoise Ohrn, and Simonne Smith.
