Marilyn (Maranda) Martin, 76, of Westport died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was wife of Edmund J. Martin.
Born in Westport, she was daughter of the late Pedro and Bella (Medeiros) Maranda. Mrs. Martin was a longtime racing enthusiast.
Including her husband, survivors include a son: Richard P. Martin of Westport; a daughter: Susan L. Bridgwater of Plymouth; a sister: Sally Daley of TX; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
