Annie A. (Guisti) Guisti 95 of Hingham formerly of Walpole died August 9 in South Shore Hospital. She was the wife of the late Karlino Guisti who died in 1994.
Born in Franklin, October 10, 1915, the daughter of the late Desiderio and Clorinda (Silvestri) Guisti, Mrs. Guisti was raised in Franklin and had lived in Walpole for over 70 years before moving to Hingham 4 years ago.
A homemaker, Mrs. Guisti had enjoyed playing bocce at the Walpole Italian American Club and had been an active member of the Walpole Senior Center.
She is survived by her children, Billy Guisti and his wife Micki of Miller Place Long Island, New York and her Virginia Guisti McLaughlin and her husband Kevin of Hingham. She was the mother of the late June A. Guisti.
She was the sister of the late John Guisti and Theresa Cimino.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Kyle McLaughlin, June Guisti Casale and her husband Don, Melissa Guisti Braislin and her husband Bill and William Guisti and his wife Diane, her great-grandchildren, Torianna, Anastasia and Owen.
She was the grandmother of the late Christopher. She is also survived by her niece Rosie Rhoades of Sandwich.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday August 13 from the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main St. Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-7.
