Macom Lott, Jr., age 64, Willacoochee, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lott was born on November 15, 1946 in Douglas, GA. Mr. Lott was preceded in death by his father: Macom Lott, Sr. He was employed at PCC Airfoils as a furnace operator for 26 years and he was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Hebron Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Chancey officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebron Church Cemetery. Survivors include: wife: Barbara Ann Lott, Willacoochee, GA; daughters: Melissa (Myron Jack) McKinnon, Pearson, GA, Megan Lott, Douglas, GA; son: Macom Lott, III, Willacoochee, GA; sisters: Latrell Gillis, Willacoochee, GA, Barbara Meeks, Axson, GA; mother: Carlue Corbitt Lott Dowd, Willacoochee, GA; grandchildren: Jakcalyn McKinnon and M. J. McKinnon both of Pearson, GA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
