Obituary

Bellingham- Jeannette C. (Lamothe) Ballas 90, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully, Wednesday August 3, 2011 at the Medway Country Manor following an illness. She was the wife of the late Charles S. Ballas who died in 1994.
Born May 22, 1921 in Woonsocket, RI, a daughter of the late Mederick and Irene (Marcoux) Lamothe, she was a resident of Blackstone, and Ft. Myers, Florida before moving to Bellingham.
Educated in Woonsocket, she was a retired mill worker for the former Jacob Finklestein & Sons in Blackstone.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and was a member of the Bellingham Senior Citizens where she sang in the choir, the Red Hat Society of Franklin, and the Catholic Daughters of the America’s Court, at St. Joseph’s Church, in Medway.
She is survived by her children, Steve Ballas of Northport, Fla.,& Francine Tremblay of Franklin, 2 brothers; Bernard Chamberland of Woonsocket, Robert Chamberland of Florida, 2 sisters; Doris Danieli of North Ft. Myers, Fla. and Teresa Picard of Orleans, Ma.
Also surviving are her grandchildren; Michelle Chan of Texas, Charles Ballas of MA, Christopher Tremblay of RI, Kenneth Tremblay of FLA, Randal Tremblay of MA, Patrick Tremblay of MA and her great grandchildren Brandon Chan, Chris, Crystal, David, Elizabeth, Bradley, Valarie, Heather, Zachery, Tessa, Taylor and Justin Tremblay.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside funeral service on Monday August 22nd, at 11AM in St. Jean Cemetery Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow.
