Ronald Dale Polley, 55, of Tifton died Monday, August 8, 2011, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Polley was born on August 31, 1955 in Columbus and was the son of Mae Jo Cassell of Tifton and the late Donald Eugene Polley. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Cassell, Jr.; and one brother, Eric Polley. He was a painter and enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Polley is survived by one son, Christopher Polley of Quitman; one daughter and son-in-law, Alisha and Tim Huff of Ashburn; one brother, Kenny Polley of Tifton; one sister, Bridgett Courson of Fitzgerald; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Luke Huff.
