Kevin J. Seavey, 43, of Twin Mountain, NH died Sunday August 7, 2011 in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. Kevin was born in Derry, NH on March 20, 1968, a son of Ronald S. and Elisa B. (Kevlik) Seavey. Kevin was a 1986 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, and later attended Manchester Vocational Technical School. Kevin had resided in Twin Mountain for the past eight years, formerly living in Chester, NH for many years. He was the owner and operator of Great East Construction Co. in Twin Mountain. Kevin was an avid hunter, enjoyed camping and spent much of his time with his dog, PJ.
He is survived by his father, Ronald S. Seavey of Fremont, NH, his mother, Elisa B. Preston of Alton, NH, his stepfather, Mark Preston of Twin Mountain, two sisters, Heidi Seavey of Derry, and Shayne Bolduc of Fremont, his niece, Chelsea Janiak of North Carolina, his two nephews, Jesse Riel and Dakota Riel, both of Fremont, also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Thursday August 11, 2011 from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A graveside celebration was held on Friday at 10:00am in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Memorial donations may be made to the NHSPCA, P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
